UW Acting Oddly - Guild Wars Forums

I know this will sound like I???m Whining, but this is a serious Question,

One of my Fav Zones is the Underworld, I generally spend 90 Min to 2Hours at a pop there; but since I Shifted Over from Zaishen combat to UW earlier today its been acting odd; like its locked in HM, or even some odd PvP AI; in 2 separate sessions hours apart I've had exactly the same results.

The moment I hit a mob, every Uglie in the Instance area Aggs and jumps in, running across the whole arena to take my team from behind; just swamping us with overwhelming numbers. A zone I normally muck about in for 90 min at a shot, I have not survived 10 min once today. (and that???s cost me about 7 Plat) Rebooting my computer seemed to help for a minute, we won our first Melee, but the 2nd again the whole Instance Agged regardless of distance, or line of sight.

Has anyone ever seen this before??? Serious answers only please. BB.

Do the mobs you run into appear after killing a Banished Dream Rider? Killing one of those spawns 3 waves of Mindblades.

Also, if you take the Four Horsemen quest, two big waves will spawn that attack you from both sides.

I'm not sure a newer player could get to the Plains in less than 10 minutes. Where is this happening, right in the chamber where you first enter the Underworld?

Are you using any different skills on your heroes? My first thought would be something like the Agony spirit.

Like Star guessed, its Happening in the first Chamber, As soon as I tag my first ugly - like I have a dozen time before, All the Minotaurs jump no matter where they are, and even the Darkness spawn and jump in, its crazy.

I usually clean it out a little before taking the first Quest; So I've no active UW Quests at the time. Some EoTN stuff maybe i need to Change my Active Quest will try that next time. As to the Hero's no my usual team and the same set up I've used for a few weeks now. Fine Tuning my Fire Skills, but nothing that should affect really.

I have reached and killed the Rider once, so I know the Mobs Kali's talking about, and yes that took way more than 10 Min. : ) Oh well early work call so this is my last re tonight. But I appreciate your time and input.

Please report back your findings; I'm curious, too.

I actually went down there yesterday after reading your post to see if anything was different, but it all seemed normal to me (I was solo, though).

I recall this happening before, or something similar. Very odd agro issues - Both this and the opposite. Hitting Aatxes only to have everything in the vicinity pulled for no reason, and other times hitting them and only having one in a whole mob attack back, the others just wandering off.

However, these didn't persist after rezoning back into UW. Perhaps some lag is to blame?

I will, let you know if it keeps up, and I would not be suprised if its not repeatable or difficult to repeat; I'm pretty well sure I triggered some kind of glitch; - and Xio might be right about the Lag, I did have a good few programs open in the background; eating up memory, In any event I do appreciate your thoughts. : ) BB.

Edit 9:11 PM.../Well had a typical run from 7:15 to 8:45 and then had to park my toons to get ready for work tomorrow (5am wake up) So, I dunno no; I did start out perhaps a little more careful than usual, but despite some big fights nothing like yesterdays experiance; If I do reproduce it I'll let yea know.
